About Eileen
Eileen was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Miami Dade Community College, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Samford University After Sundown, Liberty Home Bible Institute and has taken many art classes throughout her lifetime. She owned Acute Design, a graphic arts business in Miami until Hurricane Andrew hit the east coast of Florida. At that time she moved to Sarasota, Florida where she now resides with her husband, Tom, and Montgomery, their cat.
Eileen has told stories to her children and grandchildren for many years but not until recently brought one of her stories to life. Flooby deLoos is that story. There are many more stories rattling around in her brain that she wants to publish at a later time.
Eileen is also an accomplished portrait artist selling paintings since the early 1970s. She also likes to try her hand at some crafting; designing a variety of things with plastic bags, old jewelry, yarn and things most people throw away.
We hope she keeps her promise and publishes more children's stories.
